Met up with my friends and we got to a late start on the trail. Temperatures where in the mid 80s which has been the hottest so far.
Two father daughter pairs. Mark and Molly. Tom and Rachel. Tom and I where both in the Boy Scouts in junior and senior high schools in the Tri-Cities. We both told our Mount Saint Helen eruptions stories on the trail.
May 3rd – Tehachapi
At the park in the center of town a hiker was repairing their clothes. When finished they ask if anyone had something to repair. I gave them my habit and said to do as little or much as they wanted.
Very grateful for the repair.
May 2nd – Tehachapi
Barbershop was appointment only and fully booked. I asked if they had availability for Monday. The barber looked at their schedule and said sit down on the couch. After they finished with their customer I got to hop in the chair for a quick buzz. Very grateful for the service!
